What "AI CMO" means here
Search for AI CMO and you will find software. Dashboards that promise to replace your marketing lead.
This is the opposite. A person who owns your marketing strategy and commercial outcome, and uses AI agents for the operational work a junior team or an agency used to do.
Fractional, so you pay for senior time a few days a week. Agent powered, so that senior time goes into decisions, not into spreadsheets.
Inside the bot team
Each agent has one job:
- Strategy keeper. Holds the plan, the priorities and the decision log, so every output points the same way.
- Researcher. Competitor ads, landing pages, reviews, search demand. Returns a short brief with sources.
- Analyst. Pulls store, ad and email data into one weekly view: contribution margin after ads, MER, payback, repeat rate.
- Writer. Drafts creative briefs, ad variants, emails and pages in your brand voice.
- Builder and QA. Ships approved pages and fixes, then checks links, tracking and speed.
More detail: the AI marketing agents I run.
What I decide
- What the brand sells, to whom, and why it wins
- Which constraint we attack first
- Where budget goes, and where it stops
- What gets killed
- Final approval on anything a customer will see
Agents never move budget. Nothing customer facing ships unread.
What you get
- A weekly written memo. What happened, what it means, what we do next
- A ranked priority list. Three things, not thirty
- Briefs your team or agency can execute without another meeting
- Research and drafts in days, not weeks
Agentic marketing, without the hype
Agentic marketing is real. It is also oversold. Agents are excellent at recurring, well defined work. They are confident when wrong, and they cannot tell you that your offer is the problem.
That is why I pair them with senior judgment instead of selling them as a replacement for it. A practical guide: agentic marketing for ecommerce.
Who this is for
Shopify and DTC brands between €1M and €10M, in the EU and US. Some execution already in place. Growth getting harder. A founder who is tired of being the marketing bottleneck.
Not a fit if you want someone to run your ad accounts every day, or if you are still looking for product market fit.
